Note
from a satisfied customer:
"Yes,
you may quote me! I delivered my slips last Friday to my client
who was wowed by the workmanship. (PHEWWWW!) I told her just
don't throw them in the ol' washin' machine--drycleaning is the
only way to go. (She has no problem with that.)
I
was most relieved to hear her comments. This home will be on
a Christmas home tour, so it will be nice to have them new and
pretty.
I
have yet to settle down with a delicious cup of coffee and relax
in front of the tv with part two to view. Now THAT'S relaxation!
I
will be mentioning my slipcover experience in the next mailing
and will mention your videos.

"HANDS-ON" Training
for the Slipcover Professional
Testimonial: "I just wanted to say how much I loved and learned from your Parsons DVD. It took me a while to retrain my previous way of doing (things) but once I did I really liked it much better. My (cushion) corners are coming out perfect doing it your way. I am looking forward to sitting down with your other dvd's and starting my other slipcover projects. thank you again,
JoAnn D."

Pat Reese, Slipcover University President |
Message
from Pat Reese, Slipcover University Founder
My
career in the decorating business began in 1966 when
I went to work for Sears, Roebuck & Co. selling
custom made draperies, bedding and slipcovers. |
| |
|
|
Only
a year later I was faced with the problem of making
a living for myself and three children, Within a
short time I realized two things: that I really wanted
to create items more than I wanted to sell them,
and that I needed to be more available to my children.
That is when I decided to learn to make slipcovers. |
Working
with Noah Bazer gave me the opportunity to learn the best
slipcover techniques and also how to manage the small business
involved. He allowed me to work at home during the years
while my children were growing up. The systems I learned
from Mr. Bazer have been at the foundation of my business
all these years.. The life I have built has made me independent
and supported me for over 30 years.
My
goal in founding Slipcover University is to enable other
people who want a home-based or other small business sewing
for interiors. Whether you plan to sew for professional designers
and decorators, or directly with the public, this course
of study will provide you with the tools you need to do so. |
